The Government and Industry Partnership Award recognises fire projects that demonstrate Government and Industry collaborating with communities and stakeholders to form meaningful partnerships. These partnerships can focus on recovery or fire prevention and preparedness and improve community fire safety and awareness outcomes.
Examples of projects include but are not restricted to:
– Projects that are responsive to community needs
– Stakeholder partnerships that demonstrate meaningful collaboration
– Projects involving community/stakeholders in engagement planning
This award is open to Government and Industry:
Government and Industry – this stream includes commercial enterprise, business, fire services and state or local government.^
^DELWP, CFA, MFB, EMV and PV employees and members are eligible to enter this category.
The Government and Industry Partnership Award is a new category for 2017. This category is an extension of the Fire Services Award for Partnership and now allows Government and Industry to enter this category. The 2016 and 2015 Fire Services Award for Partnership winners are still great examples for this category.
